An nai Cultural Education and Docent Program

An nai is the JCCCW’s educational outreach and docent program that gives student groups the opportunity to visit the Cultural Center in order to learn more about Japanese and Japanese American heritage and culture. Students learn in a hands on way participating in a variety of cultural arts classes and programs including cooking, calligraphy, dance, singing, origami and much more. An nai is led by community docents who are eager to pass on their knowledge of Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage to the next generation.
