We're excited to inform you that the Hyogo Business and Cultural Center is currently accepting registration for the 2012 Washington State Japanese Language Speech and Skit Competition!

Thanks to the support of Seattle University’s International Student Center they are able to expand the competition to give chances for everyone to participate. This year's Speech and Skit competition will allow students who aren't in High School to participate. If you're not in High School yet, a university or community college student, a Japanese heritage learner, or just a highly-advanced High School student, this year is your opportunity to get involved.  The "Open Division" is a new ground for HBCC, and they're curious to know how many people are interested in competing in this level. Please sign up and show them your interest in participating in the contest this year!

With the addition of the  new division in the contest, you can definitely look forward to the same fun, amazing speeches and skits, and awesome prizes for each competitor. Once again, they are delighted that the YMCA of Greater Seattle is offering 2 chances for Speech Winners to go to Japan.  EVERY 1ST PLACE WINNER IN THE SPEECH CONTEST CAN GO TO JAPAN!

Don’t miss out on what will be the biggest Japanese Speech and Skit Contest ever!
