In recognition of the 70th anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066, the Northwest Nikkei Museum presents an exhibition of art and objects created by Japanese Americans in World War II incarceration camps. The exhibit features works collected from community members, providing a local perspective on the crafstmanship, resourcefulness, and creativity that persisted during camp.
Fashion Show
Friday May 4, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Budokan Dojo
Ever wanted to witness a fashion show in person? Well now here’s your chance! Come join us for a night of fashion featuring MOMO, Papillon, Sway ‘n Cake, and much more all modeled for you by members of the community! Desserts, wine, and a raffle will also be provided from our featured vendors. A part of the proceeds will go to supporting the JCCCW. So whether you’re looking for a girls’ night out or want to try out some wine, stop by the JCCCW on May 4 and watch our models work the runway in the latest fashion trends while supporting the community center! There will also be a raffle with prizes from our vendors.
Reserved seating will be $25 and open seating is $10.
