Nikkei Bunko is shifting its collection database from a ‘Koha’ open source library software to a cloud-based library system named ‘TinyCat’. We are looking for a volunteer with experience developing and moving over our MARC records and patron records into this new TinyCat system.
Responsibilities: Merge existing MARC records for uploading into TinyCat, add and delete books from our catalog, assist in training Nikkei Bunko volunteers.
Time Commitment: Flexible. JCCCW staff will schedule a time in which to meet and go over the switch to TinyCat. After the uploading is finished, time commitment is flexible for continued volunteering.
Skill Requirements: Experience working with Library Catalogs
